The Regional Center for Economic Research and Business Support represents the best 200 small and medium-sized communities in Ukraine (up to 100,000 residents) as of July 1, 2019, according to the All-Ukrainian Rating of Institutional Capacity and Sustainable Community Development. The rating takes into account 33 benchmarks and reflects the investment attractiveness of communities. The rating includes data on the activities of 1,092 communities from all regions of Ukraine (from 2018 used by international organizations providing financial and technical support in Ukraine, regional state authorities, regional information resources and private investors).

The ambitious investment project "Reconstruction of the water supply and drainage systems of the city of Varash with an increase in energy efficiency" was analyzed by the working group of the project, created by the decision of the mayor, Sergey Anoshenko. It was this project that became one of the winners of the EcoWater7 contest, which was held in spring by the RcErBs Foundation.
The contest is aimed at stimulating social activity in rural communities and aims at supporting the best business initiatives of citizens, in particular in the development of the socio-economic, cultural and tourist potential of the region.
